Our Story
A small hotel above a very good table.
Keystone began with a building, a restaurant, and the feeling that some stays should feel more personal than a hotel usually allows.
Set in an 1866 brick building on West State Street, The Keystone Hotel sits just above Sunday Sunday — close enough to hear the city begin in the morning, and just removed enough to feel like you've found your own quiet address in Savannah.
There are only eleven rooms. Each one is individually composed, shaped by its own light, color, and proportion. A thoughtful place to land, a beautiful meal downstairs, and the city waiting outside the door.
Savannah has always rewarded those who move a little slower. Keystone was made for that kind of guest — the one who notices the old brick, takes the longer walk, orders one more glass, and prefers a place with a point of view.
It is small by intention. Particular by nature. And quietly tied to the rhythm of the house below.

Asked often.
- When can I check in?
- Check-in is from 4:00 pm and check-out is by 11:00 am. There's no front desk to keep you waiting — your phone is your key, so you may arrive on your own schedule.
- How do I get in?
- A few days before your stay we'll email a link to our access app, and your digital key appears in it. Hold your phone to the reader at the entrance on West State Street, and again at your room door.
- Where do I park?
- Keystone does not have a private lot. Metered street parking nearby fills quickly, so we recommend the Whitaker Street Garage (7 Whitaker St), open 24/7 a short walk away.
- Do you welcome pets?
- Keystone is not a pet-friendly house. Service animals are always welcome.
- Is there an elevator?
- Yes — an elevator serves the second and third guest floors, and your phone opens it.
